If you're looking to develop students' reading skills in a way that boosts their confidence and supports their overall learning, you’ve come to the right place.

Unlike other reading interventions, where students choose the books they read, we have developed a bespoke Fluency for All Anthology. Our anthology features 50 engaging texts that align with subjects students will encounter in school. From ancient Greek myths to the wonders of the Egyptian pyramids, these texts build reading skills and background knowledge, giving students valuable context for their wider studies.

Our Fluency for All intervention is aimed at Year 7 students who struggle with their reading skills. Students will be assessed through a standardised reading test and an analysis of their standard age scores (SAS). The Shotton Hall Research School team will support you by looking at this data and identifying students requiring further diagnostic assessment. This allows us to check if a fluency intervention would be an appropriate course of action. It will also allow us to identify pupils for other interventions or further assessment.
